About Us

About Us

The Volcanofiles started as a group of graduate volcanology students keen to share our experiences of working on volcanoes – the science, the fieldwork, and what our ordinary life is like in some of the extraordinary locations that we go to. Now, members of the Volcanofiles have obtained their PhDs and are spread out around the world continuing their academic careers. Life and work permitting, we continue to collaborate on volcano monitoring and research projects.
